May 11, 2021, Greatway Technology announced releasing GWT3500S 1550nm optical transmitter,  which has both 45~806MHz RF input for analog CATV or QAM and 950~2150MHz Satellite Input.  GWT3500S can delivery analog TV, QAM TV and satellite TV over any FTTH system.  Together with high power optical amplifier, GWT3500S enables FTTH MSO dealing with analog TV, DTT or DVB-C, and live satellite 4K video at just one optical transmitter.

• August 25, 2020, Greatway Technology announced that GLB3300M fiber link had been successfully used in the RF extender system for the bicycle race of the "tour de France".   Wireless cameras coming from motorcycles, helicopters and planes are broadcast through GLB3300M (80 channels in 190 countries, 1 billion of viewers).

• March 31, 2020,  Greatway Technology announced upgrading GFH2009 RFoG Micronode to support Docsis 4.0 standard.  According to CableLabs, DOCSIS 4.0 has 1800MHz bandwidth for 10Gbps downstream data and 6Gbps upstream data along with broadcasting CATV videos.  Working with key component suppliers, Greatway Technology's new RFoG Micronode can offer satisfying 1800MHz CATV bandwidth while keeping SCTE-174-2010 RFoG standard.

• March 20, 2020,  Greatway Technology released new optical LNB,  receiving either LHCP/RHCP or wideband vertical/horizontal RF from regular twin LNB and delivering these satellite signals to each FTTH family along with GPON ethernet.  The wideband optical LNB offers a more cost-effective solution than the regular Quad/Quattro fiber products.

• November 19, 2019,  Greatway Technology announced upgrading all FTTH CATV optical receiver with XGPON option. GFH1000-KX can output excellent RF performance in GPON 1310nm/1490nm system or XGPON 1270nm/1577nm system.

• December 28, 2018, Greatway Technology announced 950MHz~3224MHz satellite fiber link for 4K/8K satellite TV DTH over fiber.

• August 15, 2018, Greatway Technology announced a leading technology for FTTH customer to select receiving 1 polarity RF only or 2 polarities RF or all 4 polarities RF from the downstreaming broadcasting 4 polarity satellite RF fiber optic signal.  This technology enables the GPON/GEPON subscribers to select the corresponding satellite TV service based on their interest and budget.

• January 25, 2018, Greatway Technology announced Satellite TV and Internet direct to home (DTH) over fiber/coax proposal.  Based on SMATV fiber to the home or SMATV fiber to the floor and coax cable to the home network, 1000Mbps or 100Mbps internet services are available along with satellite TV.

• January 18, 2016, Greatway Technology announced D-PON system for cable MSOs to offer HDTV+ Ethernet to FTTH subscribers.  D-PON means DOCSIS over PON.  Based on RFoG micronode and DOCSIS technology,  D-PON can offer 20M/100M/1G/10G ethernet along with broadcasting HDTV and interactive IPQAM video.  D-PON supports DOCSIS 2.0, DOCSIS3.0 and DOCSIS 3.1 standards.  D-PON also supports 1x32 splitter and 20Km SM fiber distance.  With D-PON, Cable MSOs can upgrade all CMTS and cable modem services to FTTH subscribers.

• April 28, 2015, Greatway Technology moved to the new location for office and production.  The new location is " 5F West, Building 2, Lihe Industrial Park, Baimang, Shenzhen 518055, China".

• August 19, 2013, Greatway Technology announced GW5000 high density optical module platform for CATV headend. The 19" 3RU chassis includes 2 power supplies, 1 management module and 12 optical units. The optical unit can be 1000MHz/1300MHz CATV forward path transmitter, 1550nm EDFA, Quad Return path 200MHz receiver or single 1000MHz/1300MHz optical receiver.

• November 30, 2012, Greatway Technology announced  CD6100S system. CD6100S can insert Ethernet services over 45~2150MHz CATV and Satellite L-Band coaxial cable network. With reverse IRD 13V/18V power capability design, the satellite users can plug CD6100S and play Ethernet at any IRD terminal over their existing L-Band cable network.

• May 21, 2012, Greatway Technology announced an upgraded FTTB  CATV receiver GWR1000L-W.  Besides outputting dual 42dBmV analog TV RF from the forward path 1550nm signal, GWR1000L-W also has a 1310nm/1490nm bypass port to ONU. Together with CD6622 (ONU and EoC master unit), the MSO can delivery Ethernet+TV services for hundreds of subscribers over 1 fiber and 1 coaxiall cable.

• October 21, 2010, Greatway Technology announced an upgraded FTTH TV receiver GFH1000-K.  Besides analog TV output from the forward path 1550nm signal, GFH1000-K also has a 1310nm/1490nm bypass port to ONU.  The PCB version GFH1004-K also has the interface of optical power level, RF level for SNMP management via a third party ONU.

• June 21, 2010, Shenzhen ePhoton Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Greatway Technology) announced 6.25G SFP+ Module for High Definition Video and high speed data fiber optic transmission.

• December 28, 2009, Shenzhen C-Data Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Greatway Technology) announced CD2000 Ethernet over Coax Access system.  Working with media converter or ONU/ONT, CD2000 can distribute high speed Ethernet within last 100 meters coaxial cable to subscribers.  Together with GEPON products or manageable media converter, Greatway Technology offers a full economic solution for TV subscribers to enjoy the value-added high speed Ethernet services over existing CATV network.

• October 27, 2009, Greatway Technology spins off its SFP transceiver production line into a new company: Shenzhen ePhoton Technology Co., Ltd..  As a subsidiary of Greatway Technology, ePhoton Technology is focusing on Fiber Optic SFP transceiver module products.   As the main shareholder of ePhoton Technology, Greatway Technology continues marketing SFP  transceiver products outside of China.

• August 19, 2009, Greatway Technology spins off its GEPON production line into a new company: Shenzhen C-Data Technology Co., Ltd..  As a subsidiary of Greatway Technology, C-Data Technology is focusing on GEPON, Ethernet over coaxial cable products.  With rich experience in embedded software and system software, C-Data Technology is the leading Chinese OEM/ODM supplier of Gigabit Ethernet over passive fiber and Ethernet over coaxial cable.  As the main shareholder of C-Data Technology, Greatway Technology continues marketing GEPON products outside of China.

• July 2, 2009, Greatway Technology released RF on Glass (RFoG) Optical MicroNode GFH2009 for bi-directional RF services over PON. GFH2009 outputs 54~1000MHz CATV RF and upstream 5~42MHz cable modem signals over 1590nm/1610nm wavelength while passing the 1310nm/1490nm optical signal to ONU.

• June 26, 2009, Greatway Technology released 3G HD-SDI video SFP transceiver module GSFP-48V for high definition video fiber transmission.  The module allows pathological signal transmission over fiber.  Besides the standard SFP MSA pinouts, GSFP-48V can offer two transmitter modules in one SFP housing or two receiver modules in one SFP housing options.

• February 1, 2009, Greatway Technology released Multi-ASI signals fiber link GASI for transmitting up to 8 ASI signals at one optical wavelength.  The fiber distance can be 100Km.  Besides ASI signals, GASI has an option of 10/100M Ethernet Transmission for ASI equipment management control.  GASI can be used in CATV headend and mobile digital TV applications.

• September 1, 2008, Greatway Technology released 47~2150MHz broadband optical receiver GFH1002 for both CATV (45~862MHz) and SAT IF(950MHz~2150MHz) signals.  GFH1002 enables each home have both local Air TV or CATV signal and SAT IF signal over one FTTH (fiber to the home) fiber optic receiver.

• August 28, 2008, Greatway Technology released the Technical Solution for SAT IF dense fiber distribution, which enable hundreds of community subscribers sharing 4 SAT Antenna signals within the distance of 3 Km.
