Product Description

GLB3500M-3 is a modular CWDM broadband RF fiber link, transmitting two 290MHz ~ 2350MHz Satellite RF (supporting UK 290MHz ~ 2340MHz or Europe 300MHz ~ 2350MHz) and one 45MHz ~ 806MHz Terrestrial TV RF over one SM fiber to multi subscribers.  The wideband RF is on 1530nm or 1550nm, the terrestrial TV RF is on 1570nm. There is fiber optic CWDM mux or demux device on the optical transmitter or receive to realize one fiber transmission.

SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna TV) is popular to offer satellite TV and terrestrial TV to subscribers living in the apartments or community.  Traditional SMATV can distribute the master antenna contents via multiswitch to satellite receivers over coaxial cable.  Due to higher loss at higher satellite frequency, SMATV cable distance is less than 150 meter even  with IF online amplifier.  Unlike regular Quattro LNB SMATV system, wideband LNB SMATV system has half RF connectors and half cable numbers, which saves the cost of transmission.  After fiber to the building, wideband SMATV optical receiver must work with dCSS multiswitch to have one RF output with 32 dynamic userbands, where each userband for oned unicable satellite STB subscriber.  This one fiber to the building and one coaxial cable to multi users in the building makes the cable installation and maintenance easier.

GLB3500M-3 fiber link includes GLB3500M-3T optical transmitter and GLB3500M-3R optical receiver. With CWDM lasers/photodiode and low noise RF gain control circuit, one GLB3500M-3T can deliver high quality RF to maximum 32pcs GLB3500M-3R optic receivers directly.
